Tomorr Kokona at Cloud Fest 2026

We are proud to announce that Tomorr Kokona, our founder, will be representing our community at Reja Festival 2026 in Tirana, leading a series of free, open-to-all Albanian Traditional Dance Workshops throughout the festival week.

“Just come along, bring your passion and positive energy. We’ll explore five Albanian dances, their background and community context, connecting through rhythm.” – Tomorr Kokona

How to join the sessions?

Sessions run every evening at 19:00 from 21 to 25 May. Just arrive at the Reja Art installation at the ‘Deshmoret e Kombit’ boulevard, bring positive energy, and be ready to move. Everything else will be guided on the day. No prior dance experience is required, only a willingness to participate and connect. Each workshop will guide participants through one of five distinct Albanian folk dances, unpacking its history, regional roots, and the communal spirit it carries.

Example of Tomorr’s Choreography

For Tom, the workshops represent far more than choreography. Albanian folk dance is a living tradition, a form of collective memory embedded in rhythm, costume, and ceremony. By bringing these dances into the public festival space, Tom aims to create a bridge between generations and cultures, offering both Albanians and international visitors a genuine point of entry into the country’s rich cultural identity.

Reja Festival, founded by Edit Pula and internationally known as Cloud Fest, has grown into one of Tirana’s most dynamic annual gatherings, blending arts, performance, and community programming. Tom’s workshops sit naturally within that spirit: accessible, participatory, and deeply rooted in place.

Whether you are visiting Tirana for the first time or have danced these steps since childhood, you are warmly welcome. Come ready to move, to learn, and to share something real with those around you.
